Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. She is of Italian (from her paternal grandpa), Irish (from her mother), German, English and Scottish heritage. Linda, California's youngest child is a native of and around the San Francisco Bay Area. At age 10 her interest in acting when she performed in a Christmas school play. She continued to do school plays and theater for the community. Linda was a graduate of Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. At the time of her graduation, she had choose among New York, where she could pursue theater as a career, and Los Angeles, where film and television would be pursued. LA was her first choice. Linda's debut role was the 1996 series Bone Chillers. Freaks and Geeks was the character that led to her breakthrough. The acclaimed show played the role of decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show received an Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by the stage name Lily James, is an English actress. She began her acting career by appearing on Just William in 2010, a British TV show. Following her breakout performance in the role of Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012 to 2015 Her first big break was in the movie fantasy Cinderella in 2015. James continued to play the Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) and also appeared in a variety of films, including the action film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 earned her Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards.
