Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor for CNBC's shows 'Squawk on the Street and 'Closing Bell'. Although she's from Ohio and was not particularly interested in the world of markets or currency during her time in college. While studying at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. It was there that she first had a chance to work working with business news. Then, she graduated with an master's degree in broadcasting at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She completed a four-month job at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to the USA and joined Bloomberg's New York office. She eventually became a TV anchor. CNBC hired her in December 2013 as a reporter. Before landing the job at 'Closing Bell and 'Closing Bell', she was an anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange' and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen has been the co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. Her main area of focus since her joining CNBC has been global consumer news.
